The invite shared by HTC also confirms that the device will come with a punch-hole screen and quad-camera setup. These two confirmed specifications hint that HTC might launch the Desire 20 Pro, which surfaced online recently.
Recently, a new smartphone was spotted on Google Play Console’s Device Catalog with code name ‘htc_bymdugl’ and model name ‘HTC 2Q9J10000. An online report revealed that this could be the HTC Desire 20 Pro. The report further adds that the smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset, paired with 6GB RAM and Qualcomm Adreno 610. The display of the handset is full HD+ resolution of 1080x2340p. The handset is said to run on Android 10 operating system out of the box.
Earlier this year, HTC launched its mid-range smartphone — HTC Wildfire R70. The device comes with a 6.53-inch HD+ display with 720×1560 pixel resolution and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P23 processor paired with 2GB of RAM. The smartphone sports a triple rear camera setup which consists of a 16MP primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture, 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture, 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. There’s also an 8MP front camera for selfies.
