Karnataka government has launched a COVID-19 tracking platform developed by The National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM) taskforce. The platform is a multi-faceted, open architecture platform which deploys artificial intelligence (AI) technology models to assist the government in taking informed decisions and track the phased opening of the states.
The NASSCOM developed platform can be hosted on any cloud platform based on the government’s preference. It is based on a plug and play concept, providing the benefit to users to decide which features they want to use and integrate with their existing platform as and when needed.
As part of the launch, the NASSCOM Task force will provide the first set of dashboards for the state government’s use. Called the Karnataka Listening Dashboard for COVID-19, it will provide information like Covid summary, Covid source analysis, testing summary, hospital capacity in the state along with tests reports by category.
Its Covid summary will provide key facts that can be used by officials to get a glance of state and district level numbers. Covid source analysis will inform about the number of cases in the last 24 hours along with the origin and spread analysis. Users can also check bed occupancy and district-wise availability in the state.
