UPSC ISS Exam 2020 registration begins on upsconline.nic.in, UPSC IES exam cancelled

NEW DELHI: The online registration process for the UPSC Indian Statistical Service Examination 2020 started on June 10, 2020, on the official website of the Commission – upsconline.nic.in. The candidates can register for the UPSC ISS 2020 examination until 6.00 PM, June 30, 2020.

The Union Public Service Commission also notified that the Indian Economic Service Examination, 2020, (UPSC IES) will not be held due to NIL vacancy reported for the Indian Economic Service by the Ministry of Finance (Department of Economic Affairs).

The registration for the UPSC ISS 2020 exam will be conducted in two parts. In Part I registration, candidate will have to fill basic information. The Part-II Registration consists of – application fee payment, uploading of Photograph, Signature, Photo Identity Card Document, selection of examination centre and Agreeing to Declaration.

Registration of Part-I & Part-II will be treated as valid from 10-06-2020 to 30-06-2020 (6:00 P.M.). On successful completion of your complete application, an auto-generated email message will be sent on your registered email-ID.

A notification on the reads, “Applicants should note that there will be a ceiling on the number of candidates allotted to each of the Centres except Ahmedabad, Chennai, Delhi, Dispur and Kolkata. Allotment of Centres will be on the ‘first-apply-first allot’ basis, and once the capacity of a particular Centre is attained, the same will be frozen. Applicants are, thus, advised that they may apply early so that they could get a Centre of their choice.”
