Vivo Z5x (2020) smartphone with 5,000 mAh battery launched

NEW DELHI: Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has expanded its smartphone lineup with the launch of Vivo Z5x (2020). The company has priced the device at 1,398 yuan (Rs 15,000) and it comes in Aurora, Phantom Black, and Symphony colour options. The smartphone is available in China for purchase and the company has not yet revealed the details about its global rollout. 

Vivo Z5x (2020) specifications

The Vivo Z5x comes with a 6.53-inch full HD+ display with a 1080×2340 pixel resolution. The display offers a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and a 90.78% screen to body ratio. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 processor coupled with 8GB of RAM.

The smartphone offers 128GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 512GB by adding a microSD card. The device runs Android 9.0 Pie operating system topped with the company’s own FunTouch OS. Vivo Z5x (2020) comes with a triple rear camera setup which consists of a 16MP main sensor, 8MP wide-angle-lens sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. The device is home to a 16MP selfie shooter.

The Vivo Z5x (2020) comes equipped with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and is backed by a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. In terms of connectivity, the device offers 4G, LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS as connectivity options.

Recently, Vivo launched its Y50 smartphone in India priced at Rs 17,990. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Users can further expand the storage by adding a microSD card. The smartphone runs Android 10 operating system and comes with a 6.53-inch full HD+ display with a 1080p resolution. The smartphone is backed by a 5000mAh battery with fast-charging support.
